As we say goodbye to June we’d like to share Bill Jensen’s pairing note which perfectly captures his love of poetry in motion, wine, and the intersection of the two.

In a world made of steel full of unremarkable, inoffensive rosé, one blush dares to feel the rhythm, dance right across your palate and through your life. This is a pink wine with something to say, wildly refreshing but equally interesting, full of brambly wild berries, rhubarb, a summer’s garden worth of crushed herbs. It’s bright and bracing but substantial enough to hold its own with just about anything left over in your fridge. It has all the dance hall sophistication of Pinot Noir coupled with Steel City charm.
